Freyssinet, Inc. celebrating 20 years in the US

In March 1995, CCS Special Structures, Inc. manned by one person, Andrew Micklus, Jr., PE, started the US operation of Freyssinet as a sole Licensee to provide pre-stressing and post-tensioning services and products in the United States.

In April 2000, CCS Special Structures, Inc. was purchased by Freyssinet to become PTSC and then Freyssinet, LLC in the United States.

In 2008, the company was incorporated and is now operating as Freyssinet, Inc. Today, Freyssinet, Inc. employs more than 75 people in the US.

Freyssinet, Inc. is a subsidiary of the Soletanche Freyssinet Group. Freyssinet was created after the name of Eugène Freyssinet, French Engineer who invented the Post-tensioning solution in 1928. In 2009, Freyssinet, DGI-Menard, The Reinforced Earth Company, Nuvia grouped forces with Soletanche Bachy to form the Soletanche Freyssinet Group.
